An informative, soulful, and funny program geared toward people working with aging adults in any capacity, this combined performance-workshop features a story about coaching a feisty 86-year-old woman through the confusing landscape that is end-of-life care. Special performances featuring John McCutcheon

Folk musician John McCutcheon, hailed as “one of our country’s best songwriters” by Pete Seeger and the “most impressive instrumentalist I’ve ever heard” by Johnny Cash, will perform two December concerts in Jonesborough for the International Storytelling Center.

An award-winning recording artist and National Storytelling Festival favorite, John McCutcheon’s storytelling style is often compared to Will Rogers and Garrison Keillor. Few people communicate with the versatility, charm, wit or pure talent of McCutcheon, who is a recipient of seven Grammy nominations.

Both shows will take place Monday, December 11, 2017 in the Mary B. Martin Storytelling Hall on ISC’s downtown campus, one at 2:00 pm and the other at 7:30 pm. Tickets are just $20 and are expected to sell out quickly. Buy now or call 423-913-1276 to reserve your tickets.
