Enjoy an afternoon of Appalachian storytelling to benefit the Hicks family.
Featuring Storytellers Sheila Kay Adams, Gwenda Ledbetter, Vixi Jil Glen, David Novak, Connie Regan-Blake & special guest teller, Ted Hicks.
Admission $12
Because of health issues, Ted (Ray and Rosa’s youngest son) has been in a nursing home in Banner Elk for 18 months. He’s in a wheelchair and can’t visit their homeplace since it is down a steep hill with no driveway. Rosa is also struggling getting up that same hill. Money raised from this benefit will provide the much needed driveway.
