Our most challenging experiences can become our most meaningful stories. That’s why, for centuries, people have used storytelling as a means of making sense of our unpredictable world. In this workshop, Kevin will explore how hardship and loss in our lives and during the pandemic can be transformed into healing stories that are evocative, engaging, and even humorous. The session will include exercises that spark story ideas and guidance on craft, with optional story-sharing at the end of the day.
Kevin is a storyteller, playwright, and author best known for his regular commentary on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” He frequently appears as an expert speaker on resilience, disability, and storytelling.
