The International Storytelling Center (ISC) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new fund that will help one audience member cover the cost of attending the National Storytelling Festival each year.
Named for the late wife of storyteller Donald Davis, the Merle Davis Story Listener Fund honors the life of an arts administrator and story lover who understood how important it is to be a good listener.
ISC is now accepting donations for the fund, which will cover registration fees and a travel stipend for one special storytelling fan at the National Storytelling Festival in October.
Applications are being accepted now for the Merle Davis Story Listener scholarship. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2018.
