Socially Distant. Digitally Connected.

Dear Friends of Storytelling,

Feeling connected is vital to our collective health. In these uncertain times, we must rely on the power of story and community as a force for good. As we all do our part to flatten the curve and slow Covid-19, our team is working on developing content to keep our audiences digitally connected during necessary social distancing.

Currently, the International Storytelling Center is following the recommendations of local, state, and national health organizations. The well-being of our staff, storytellers, audiences, and general public remain at the heart of our decisions. As of today, Storytelling Live! season is still scheduled to begin on June 2, 2020. Should changes arise, we will notify audiences and ticket holders immediately.

As we all make sacrifices to keep our world as healthy as possible, we encourage you to turn your handshakes and hugs into phone calls and video chats. Tell stories of hope to one another.

Whether you are hunkered down with family, home alone, out of school, or on the front lines of this pandemic working to keep us safe, keep your eye on your inbox and our social media channels, as we’ll be sending free storytelling content and Festival footage, as a gift from us to you.

Sincerely,

Kiran Singh Sirah
