Our Donors Make the Difference
The success and growth of the International Storytelling Center is due in large part to the generous support of people like you. You can become a regular donor or make a one-time gift today. Join our story and support storytelling for a better life, a better world.
Friend of the Festival
The growth and success of our Festival is due in large part to the help of people like you who love and support live storytelling. As a Friend of the Festival, your investment will help stage this year’s event and ensure the continuance of this educational, artistic, and economic driver for our region.
StoryVault, ISC’s official podcast, features some of our most treasured archival footage from the history of the National Storytelling Festival. It’s one of the largest and most important collections of oral recordings in the world–and we want to make sure that everyone has access to it. Help spread story through a tax-deductible donation today.
Stories for Change
Stories for Change is a series of initiatives to empower youth within Appalachia to harness the power of story to be the change they wish to see in the world. Through exposure to world-class storytelling training and performance, they learn skills that can transform their own lives, help them envision a better place for themselves, and be the story for change in a world where their stories matter.
Considering a future donation? With many flexible and creative options, we can help you choose one that’s right for you. Consider a special gift, a bequeathment in your will, or name ISC as a beneficiary in your donor-advised fund, retirement plan or life insurance policy. Your donation can be a set amount, a specified asset or percentage of your estate. To discuss your options in more detail, contact Sandy Reaves at 423-913-8216 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Merle Davis Story Listener Fund
ISC is celebrating the life of Merle Davis, beloved arts administrator and devoted audience member of the National Storytelling Festival. Named for the late wife of storyteller Donald Davis, the Merle Davis Story Listener Fund honors the life of a story connoisseur who understood how important it is to be a good listener.
