Dr. Dinah Mayo-Bobee, PhD

Associate Professor, East Tennessee State University

Dinah Mayo-Bobee is an Associate Professor of History at East Tennessee State University. She began developing and teaching college-level courses in 2002 and earned a Ph.D. in History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007. Dr. Mayo-Bobeeā€™s research focus is the early republic producing the book New England Federalists: Widening the Sectional Divide in Jeffersonian America (2017), as well as articles in The New England Quarterly and Slavery and Abolition. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at East Tennessee State University since 2011.
