In 2004, ISC partnered with the Krispy Kreme Foundation and Project Zero at the Harvard School of Education to develop a report on the effects of story work in education, organization, and peace and conflict resolution.

When the Covid-19 pandemic forced the Freedom Stories project to go entirely online, we had no idea the impact that would cause. Rather than reaching just Central Appalachia, we ended up reaching the nation.
