Customer Service Representative
International Storytelling Center – Jonesborough, TN
Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week
Starting Range: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
The International Storytelling Center is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first person many visitors meet, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for guests from around the world while supporting our year-round programs and the National Storytelling Festival. This full-time position is regularly scheduled Tuesday through Saturday and may occasionally require additional hours during special events.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist visitors in person and by phone.
- Answer questions about the International Storytelling Center, Storytelling Live, the National Storytelling Festival, and the Town of Jonesborough.
- Process ticket sales and gift shop purchases using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk and lobby.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining records and fulfilling information requests.
- Support special events and other organizational activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Retail, hospitality, tourism, or customer service experience is preferred.
