International acclaimed guitarist, singer, and storyteller Hiroya Tsukamoto transports his audience to another place and time through songs and stories inspired by culture, travel, and the beautiful people he has been fortunate to meet. His music is meditative and mesmerizing — fusing folk, jazz, and world music with his unique brand of award-winning finger style guitar (performing without a pick). Tsukamoto performs at concerts throughout the U.S. and internationally, including the legendary Blue Note jazz club in New York City and Japanese National Television. In 2000, Hiroya made the move to the United States after receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music.
